How the Trump-Kim summit is playing in North Korea

Kim arrived in Singapore on Sunday for a historic summit with US President Donald Trump on Tuesday aimed at getting North Korea to give up its nuclear weapons and missiles in exchange for economic incentives and security guarantees. "We'd start at least a dialogue", Trump told reporters as he departed the G-7 summit in Quebec, Canada.

Kim also participated in a so-called "selfie" with Singapore's foreign minister, Vivian Balakrishnan, who uploaded the photo to Twitter.

Differing reports stated that Kim was on an Air China aircraft, not a private jet.

Just hours before what could be the most important meeting of his life, a seemingly relaxed and confident Kim Jong Un took a night on the town in Singapore, taking selfies and being greeted by cheering onlookers.

Details were not shared about how the discussions have progressed so far and Trump and Kim have yet to meet face-to-face.

Bottas' second also sees him jump back above Ricciardo into third in the standings, albeit 35 and 37 points behind respectively. Kimi Raikkonen finished sixth, followed by the Renault teammates of Nico Hulkenberg and Carlos Sainz seventh and eighth.

He has been involved in the country's relations with the US and South Korea for more than two decades.

In return, Kim, said to be in his mid-thirties, called Trump "mentally deranged" and a "dotard". The North Korean leadership, including Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Choe Son Hui has also taunted Washington, calling Vice President Mike Pence a "political dummy". But on the eve of the summit, he altered his schedule, opting to return at about 8 p.m. on Tuesday after a full day of meetings with Kim - nearly 15 hours earlier than previously anticipated.

He left early, and as he flew to Singapore, he tweeted that he was yanking the USA out of the traditional group statement.

The White House said the summit was to kick off at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Kim can expect things like hand-cut crystal chandeliers, hand-painted chinoiserie silk wallpapers, 600-threadcount bed linens, paintings by Marc Chagall, a baby grand piano, separate living and dining rooms, an office, gym, and, of course, the hotel's renowned (among rich people) butler service.

"It's about attitude", Trump said.

Prior to this year's finals, the Warriors already took five crowns after winning the 1947, 1956, 1975, 2015, and 2017 rings. That this back-to-back is done, the discussion now shifts to where this team fits in the scope of history.

In a statement obtained by CNN, Rodman says he considers Trump to be a friend and expressed his confidence in his ability to get the job done in their summit.

"You know they say you know if you like somebody in the first five seconds?".

"President Trump believes that Kim Jong-un has an unprecedented opportunity to change the trajectory of our relationship and bring peace and prosperity to his country", added the secretary of state.

Kim had landed in Singapore hours earlier, staying silent as he has since Trump announced he had rescheduled the once-cancelled meeting set for Tuesday morning local time (prime time Monday in the United States).

North Korea is one of the most insular states in the world and command and control of its nuclear facilities is kept within a tight, impenetrable circle.
