England finally win a penalty shootout to knock out Colombia

After getting off to a rough World Cup start by losing to eventual group victor Japan, Colombia blasted Poland 3-0 and then took down Senegal 1-0 to book a ticket into the knockout round.

England had a nervy start to the World Cup, with Tunisia giving them a run for their money.

It was a stunning end to normal time that left England ragged and reeling.

England were the better side without looking too risky but were then gifted the lead when Carlos Sanchez hauled down England's captain and talisman Kane once too often.
