The former champion and world number one had to bow out of Wimbledon due to an ongoing hip injury.

Wimbledon officials are refusing to show any soccer on the All England Club's big screen, despite football fever gripping the country as the national team bids to reach its first World Cup final since 1966.

The All England Club has come under increasing pressure to rethink its 2pm (1300GMT) start time for Sunday´s men´s singles final with the football showpiece in Moscow kicking off at 4pm in the United Kingdom (1500GMT).

England face Croatia in the World Cup semi-finals on Wednesday in Russian Federation (19:00 kick-off), with the victor playing France or Belgium on Sunday (16:00).

He acknowledged people were using smartphones on Centre Court on Saturday, adding: "Our attitude is if people aren't affecting other people's enjoyment of the tennis, which they weren't, because they've got it on silent or whatever, or they are listening with an earphone, or whatever, that's fine".
