Antoine Griezmann hits back after Courtois' comments

Thibaut Courtois was extremely critical of the style of football played by France in their World Cup semi final, however, Antoine Griezmann has questioned whether or not the stopper feels he plays Barcelona football at Chelsea.

After the match Courtois was among a number of Belgium players who criticised Les Bleus for playing with a lack of flair and adventure.

"I play for football", he said. Their striker plays 30 metres from his own goal.

Defender Samuel Umtiti scored the game's only goal, despite Belgium having the lion's share of possession.

And Hazard added: "I prefer to lose with this Belgium than win with that France".

"France heads a corner and does nothing more than defend", he said.

"'Does Thibaut Courtois think he plays Barcelona football at Chelsea?", the Atletico Madrid star quipped.

Thirty-two teams qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
