"We're making insane people superstars".

Twitter has a long way to go before it's a safe platform for people to use, but this is a step in the right direction.

A routine press scrum almost turned into political theatre of a different kind after U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) was confronted by controversial Inforwars host Alex Jones Wednesday.

"But what about the Democrats purging conservatives?". Republicans are acting like it isn't happening.

Rubio turned his attention to reporters and cautioned that oppressive regimes like that of China can and have used censorship to censor "the truth".

He also announced North and South Korea will open a joint liaison office in North Korea's Gaeseong industrial complex. News 1 reported Thursday the biggest USA warship based in Asia could arrive in South Korea for joint exercises.

"Is that a heckler? I'm asking you not to touch me again", Rubio said.

"Sure, sure, they demonize me in these hearings and then he plays dumb", Jones replied, before plugging his notorious InfoWars website. "He doesn't know who I am, but he is so mad", Jones said with excitement. "You're a snake", Jones responded.

OK, we just have to preface this whole thing by making something super clear: we are NOT on Marco Rubio's side.

"You're not gonna get arrested", Rubio told him. "I don't want to be touched". "You are not going to silence me". "You are literally like a little gangster thug, Rubio just threatened to physically take care of me".

"Oh, he'll beat me up", Jones said in a surprised tone.

Jordan Henderson signs news Liverpool deal
Speaking to RMC last October, Paris Saint-Germain star Adrien Rabiot admitted that he had a liking for one Premier League club. Group C hasn't been kind to Liverpool , who will have to play well if they are going to progress to the next round.

"I didn't say that, dude", Rubio answered back.

Reporters attempted to continue their line of questioning, but Jones continued to badger Rubio, calling the Florida Senator a "frat boy" and a "little punk" before demanding to know if he had heard of Infowars. "I'll take care of it myself".

It was referring to a clip of Jones shouting at and berating CNN journalist Oliver Darcy for 10 minutes during congressional hearings about social media on Wednesday. Jones followed at least one of them outside the Senate office building, but his SUV was pulling away already.

Rubio, per The Hill, marveled at Jones, "a heckler in a press gaggle".

"The Democrats are raping InfoWars!" continued the conspiracy theorist.

Stolen Wizard of Oz ruby slippers recovered after 13-year search
The FBI said no one has yet been arrested or charged in the case, but they have "multiple suspects" and continue to investigate. Despite the slippers' evident value and desirability, several pairs sat for years unnoticed in storage on the MGM lot.

Jones was forced to apologize after a man called Edgar Welch drove from North Carolina to the nation's capital and shot up the pizza shop as he attempted to "self-investigate" the theory.
