Yet another royal wedding: 5 memorable moments from Princess Eugenie’s big day

Hubby Prince Charles attended Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's nuptials on Friday at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle. Unfortunately, the TV coverage was distinctly second-tier too.

This isn't the first time a royal wedding has taken place at Windsor Castle this year. It was so lightweight, I half-expected Alan Partridge or Bridget Jones to pop up as roving reporters.

Eugenie is a patron of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London where she had her surgery as a child.

Did the longstanding rumor of "bad blood" between Camilla and Eugenie's parents - Sarah "Fergie" Ferguson, 58, and Prince Andrew, 58 - cause Camilla to stay at home?

Closer to the ocean, squares of concrete served as the only evidence that houses had stood there just the day before. Almost 950,000 homes and businesses were without power in Florida, Alabama, the Carolinas and Georgia on Thursday.

Eugenie's look was quite different from that of Meghan Markle's stunning Givenchy gown from her own Royal Wedding this past May.

When the bride tried to get into the Aston Martin the groom and Beatrice quickly realised they had to accommodate the large train of her wedding dress, designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos.

While this sounds like typical married couple behavior, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge rarely engage in public displays of affection, due to something called "royal protocol".

The Princess has spent a large part of her life raising awareness of the condition, even going on to become a patron at the hospital where she received the eight-hour operation.

William and Kate's 5-year-old son, Prince George, served as a page boy, and their daughter, 3-year-old Princess Charlotte, was one of six bridesmaids.

"And I thought "what a silly hat" and I thought 'who's that?' and then you came over and shook my hand and I was all butterflies and nervous", Eugenie explains.

Eugenie revealed to British Vogue that her gown would be crafted by a "British-based designer".

The Peter Pilotto label was established in London in 2007. "I would loved to have been there because she's a lovely, lovely person and ... anyway, I just hopes she has a very happy wedding!"

"In fact, I would go so far as to say he was deeply unhelpful when support would have meant a huge amount to her and the Prince".
