Scientist: Warren Could Have ‘1/32th to 1/1,024th’ Native American Heritage

Sen. Elizabeth Warren's release Monday of a DNA analysis that she does indeed have Native American ancestry is a pointed pushback to Donald Trump's derisive nickname for her.

A almost six-minute video posted to Warren's "Fact Squad" website details Warren's family history and upbringing in Oklahoma and shows a genetics professor from Stanford University confirming that Warren has Native American ancestry from six to 10 generations ago."Trump can say whatever he wants about me".

As well as releasing the results to the Boston Globe, Warren also released a video on her family's history, and published fact-checking information on her website about her heritage.

He concluded Warren's ancestry is mostly European but says "the results strongly support the existence of an unadmixed Native American ancestor".

Thousands march in Chicago to encourage voting in midterms
Similar marches are scheduled later this month in other states, including the Republican strongholds of Texas, Georgia and SC . A new survey reveals that Democrats may actually be more motivated to vote because of Kavanaugh than Republicans.

The analysis of Warren's DNA was done by Carlos D. Bustamante, a Stanford University professor who the Boston Globe reported was an expert in the field.

Trump has seized on Warren's claim several times during his campaign and presidency.

Trump has repeatedly criticized Warren for allegedly being misleading about her Native American heritage and using it to advance her career as a Harvard University professor, infamously dubbing her "Pocahontas". Please send the check to the National Indigenous Women's Resource Center: "http://www.niwrc.org/donate-niwrc", Warren tweeted.

The political rally was held in Montana in early July and the Commander in Chief foretold a potential political debate between him and future presidential candidate Warren, then mocked the #MeToo movement by suggesting he'd carefully toss a $2 DNA test kit to the senator if she were to agree to take it.

Hands on with Google's Home Hub: The smart speaker for everything
If someone walks up and rings your Nest doorbell, for example, the live video will automatically appear on the Google Home Hub . It took a while but Google has finally introduced its own smart display which will take on the likes of the Amazon Echo Show .

Warren was an architect of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau set up after the 2008 financial crisis and has been a strong voice in the U.S. Senate on financial issues.

"In the senator's genome, we did find five segments of Native American ancestry, with very high confidence, where we believe the error rate is less than one in 1,000", Dr. Bustamante says in a video shared by Warren on Twitter. Among white Americans, there is considerable variation: 8% of whites in Louisiana have at least 1% Native American ancestry, for example, according to 23andMe.

"This isn't just about casual racism", said Warren.

"I get it: @realDonaldTrump is afraid of facts". In August, she's posted 10 years of tax returns online. "And no one-not even the President of the United States-will ever take it away from me".

China’s trade surplus with United States hits record high of US$34 billion
Imports of American goods increased 9 percent to $12.6 billion, down from August's 11.1 percent growth. Export numbers have been buoyed by producers rushing to fill orders before American tariffs rose.
