Brewers hold off the Dodgers to force Game 7 of the NLCS

The Dodgers need another answer.

Game 5 of the 2018 National League Championship Series between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Los Angeles Dodgers started in really interesting fashion this evening.

Soon enough we'll know something else about Game 7 - who won it.

"We're in a good spot, man", Counsell said. "So, we got to do a better job tomorrow". Opposite Buehler will be well-traveled righty Jhoulys Chacin, who outdueled him in that start by throwing 5 1/3 shutout frames. But neither team will have any qualms about turning to its reinforcements early.

As for Los Angeles, the looming figure in the bullpen will be Clayton Kershaw, fresh off dominating the Brewers in Game 5. Jansen, who has had the last two days off, can provide more than that. Roberts probably will have a quicker hook in that game than he did on Friday night. And it paid off: Knebel threw a scoreless sixth to reward his skipper's decision; the shaky Jeremy Jeffress tossed a crisp and ideal seventh; and righty Corbin Burnes worked the final two frames to finish it.

Max Muncy is starting at second base and hitting fifth for the Dodgers. He was excellent on the year and through the first five innings of his first NLCS start, back in Game 3, before yielding late.

The verdict of Manafort stand 8 February
Legal experts said Manafort is likely to face about seven to 10 years in prison under federal sentencing guidelines. USA district judge appointed a sentencing date for Paul Manafort on 8 February 2019.

During the fourth inning of Wednesday's NLCS Game 5 in Los Angeles, Kershaw had the Brewers catcher way out front on a filthy 73 miles per hour curveball.

He hasn't given up a run in 10 1/3 innings this postseason.

"There's the thought of trying to go to your 'pen in the first inning or the second inning", Roberts said, "but there's a significant cost for a potential Game 7". Aguilar opened the rally with a two-run, opposite-field double to right field, snapping out of a slump that had plagued the first baseman for much of the postseason.

Julio Urias was chosen to NLCS roster over Scott Alexander because "we liked his pitch mix more for this series" Dave Roberts shared with the media.

The Dodgers tied the game 1-all on Austin Barnes' RBI single up the middle in the fifth.

Aguilar entered 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position in the series before delivering a two-run double in the first inning. Knebel threw 25 pitches in his two innings of work (though he didn't appear in Game 5), and Burnes needed 23 pitches to close things out. He went 6-1 with a 2.43 ERA and 143 strikeouts in 81.1 innings during the regular season, Hader has carried that over to October and been just as untouchable.

Audio recordings indicate torture, dismemberment of Saudi journalist
Those policies are all seen as initiatives of the crown prince, who has also presided over a roundup of activists and businessmen. Turkish officials believe journalist Jamal Khashoggi was killed in the Saudi consulate.

"I think I'll be fine". They're rested and ready.

"Best-case scenario for sure for us", Counsell said.

Kratz, though, would make contact the following pitch and thus indisputably prove that he's better than all of us at baseball.

The Dodgers this season led the NL with a.796 OPS against right-handed pitchers.

A surprise bullpen game worked well, until it didn't - and it ultimately didn't prevent the Brewers from losing for the third time in four games after a 12-game winning streak that propelled them deep into the postseason. One team will get to advance to the World Series, and the other team's season will end in heartbreak. Here we are again.

Why Western bluster over Khashoggi won't lead to sanctions against Saudi Arabia
Jordan related the denial to Saudi Arabia's posture following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Late Sunday, King Salman spoke on the telephone with President Erdoğan about Khashoggi.
