Jose Mourinho played down an ugly touchline melee after watching his Manchester United side concede a heartbreaking late equaliser as Chelsea preserved their unbeaten Premier League record on Saturday (Oct 20).

Asked about the incident post-match on Sky Sports, as quoted by The Mirror, Mourinho suggested the matter was now settled, claiming Sarri had apologised on behalf of his team. "I did not get respect back from Chelsea fans but that is not my responsibility", Mourinho said.

He said: "I'm not annoyed with anything". Sarri came to me, and said he would resolve it internally. The assistant has already come to me and apologised. He was very impolite but Sarri took care of the situation.
