Donald Trump Responds to Oprah: Democrat Candidate for Georgia Governor 'Not Qualified'

Winfrey pointed out that she's an Independent, and she votes for her "values".

"Take a look at her past, take a look at her history, take a look at what she wants to do and what she has in mind for the state".

"This is Georgia!" he exclaimed to applause.

"I don't want to go in those waters!"

Some 120 kilometres north, Vice-President Mike Pence stood alongside Abrams' opponent, Brian Kemp, in Dalton, and mocked the billionaire media icon as just another liberal outsider trying to impose on Republican-run Georgia. Winfrey has since dismissed the notion that she would challenge Trump in 2020. "I think people want to know: Will it work?"

"Democracy is not just about our individual rights and concerns and our individual protections", Winfrey said, "but rather it lives and thrives in making sure that everybody is lifted by the community".

"You get a vote!"

And in a nod to the allegations of voter suppression that have marked the gubernatorial race, Winfrey told the crowd that "every single one of us has something that, if done in numbers too big to tamper with, can not be suppressed and can not be denied".

"She's home!" Winfrey says in the video, standing at a door.

Any move on citizenship is sure to be challenged in United States courts
It turns out that it isn't just President Trump who has expressed his negative views of birthright citizenship . Still, lawyers doubted that Trump could use an executive order to end the constitutional right.

"Brian Kemp's getting the support of all kinds of hard-working, good people all across Georgia, and Stacey Abrams is being bankrolled by Hollywood liberals", Pence said. Both campaigns are bringing in the "big guns" (as one Peach State politico put it) in the final days of the campaign-Oprah Winfrey and Mike Pence are in Georgia Thursday to campaign for Abrams and Kemp, respectively.
