Milan Pavkov scored twice in seven first-half minutes to hand Red Star their first Champions League victory in 26 years.

Red Star Belgrade produced one of the biggest upsets of this season's Champions League by beating Liverpool 2-0 on Tuesday (Wednesday NZT), reviving memories of their time as one of Europe's top football teams.

Liverpool will be preparing for their match against Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday night and it appears Jurgen Klopp will have received a timely boost ahead of the game, according to the club's official website. The boys are very disappointed, I'm very disappointed.

Jurgen Klopp praises Unai Emery for proving himself to Arsenal fans
Last season Arsenal , under Arsene Wenger, took just six points from matches against other members of the "Big Six". The two clash at the Emirates on December 17 and face off in the Premier League little over a fortnight before.

"We made it too easy for them".

The pool is now wide open and with a hard trip to PSG followed by the visit of Napoli, the Reds need to up their level quickly if they are to navigate a path into the knockout stage. We all have to deal with it. So they could score that one and, out of the blue more or less, they scored the second one.

The decision to leave Xherdan Shaqiri back in Britain due to political tensions will now be questioned as the Swiss international's guile to break down a defence was badly missed.

Mourinho unsure if Lukaku can face Juventus
When asked why United started so poorly, Mourinho was at a loss: "I can't understand [why we started slow]". This was yet another dismal defensive display from United, with De Gea exposed time and time again.

Left-back Andy Robertson, playing nearly as an out-and-out winger after the break, saw a cross deflected on to the top of the crossbar, while Salah finally forced a save out of Milan Borjan, hitting a post with his next effort. Including last season's play-off tie with Hoffenheim, they have netted 54 times in their last 18 outings - an average of exactly three goals per game.
