Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry will not play Saturday against the Brooklyn Nets and will likely miss a few more days after having an MRI on Friday morning on his strained left groin.

National Basketball Association champions the Warriors (10-2) were beaten 134-111, losing at home for the first time this season, having seen Draymond Green sit out with a sprained toe before Stephen Curry suffered a groin strain out on the floor.

Irving underwent a knee-surgery in April and missed the entire postseason while Hayward suffered a season-ending ankle injury in the first game of last season.
