Environment Canada says freezing rain will hit parts of Ottawa Saturday night.

OTHER DETAILS: Temperatures will remain very marginal until Sunday morning, so in addition to snow, much of the front half of the storm may include sleet, ice and rain, which will limit initial accumulations (except over higher terrain).

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 38.

Dallas Police Officer Who Shot Man In His Own Apartment Indicted
A Dallas County grand jury delivered the indictment after considering the evidence against Amber Guyger on Monday and Wednesday. Merritt claimed that she did not realize she was at the wrong apartment until she called 911 and was asked for her location.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 53.

The freezing rain is expected to continue until around noon, when it should turn into rain. High near 74. South wind 10 to 15 miles per hour.

We flip the calendar page to December this weekend while welcoming the start of meteorological winter, and perhaps on cue, it will come with winter weather. Rain will start to change to snow Sunday morning into the afternoon. Can't rule out a few pockets of freezing rain through the interior or the eastern slopes of the Berkshires, but most areas will have changed over to plain rain. The main threats include gusty winds, small hail and lightning.

Tonight: Showers likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 10pm.

Most of the week looks storm free as a coastal storm will look to develop too far south midweek to have any big impacts right now. If we go 6 straight days without rain after Sunday, that would be the longest streak since August!
