Someone has $1.5B waiting from October Mega Millions

The televised Mega Millions drawing, only the fifth ever on Christmas Day, was held at 11 p.m. The estimated cash option for the Powerball is $177.6 million.

It costs $2 to play, though the odds of winning the jackpot are one in 302 million. "Lucky retailers" qualify as spots that have paid out on average $4,000 per week in winning tickets. The jackpot for matching every number in Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing has now reached a total of $321 million.
