The story of Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown's absence from practice last week and Sunday's game just keeps taking more twists and turns.

Some Steelers players thought it was odd that Brown showed up and walked onto the field pregame in a large, multicolored coat instead of Steelers gear. According to the Post-Gazette, Brown skipped practice for the rest of the week following the dispute with Roethlisberger and didn't even bother showing up for the team's walk-through practice on Saturday. Brown and an unnamed teammate got into a verbal altercation which ended in the future Hall of Fame wideout throwing a football in disgust.

The disagreement occurred Wednesday morning during a routine walk-through practice that precedes their regular afternoon practice on the South Side. Brown became disgusted and threw a football in anger at one of his teammates, several sources said. As it turns out though, it was his own decision to miss practice.

Brown had been listed as questionable on the injury report, with head coach Mike Tomlin saying Friday that Brown was having his knee tested because he "didn't feel comfortable enough (to practice)". Here's what national and local reporters are saying about the Brown situation.
