The President slammed the Democratic Party's recent embrace of socialist principles during his address, saying "Here, in the United States, we are alarmed by new calls to adopt socialism in our country".

President Donald Trump delivered his second State of the Union address Tuesday night, offering up the yearly presidential speech on a delayed timeline.
