Technical Issues Affecting Wells Fargo Customers

In a statement, the bank said ATM services have been restored and are available for customer use.

The San Francisco-based bank said on Twitter at about 1 p.m. that during routine maintenance, smoke was detected, and systems shut down.

The bank apologized and said it was working to restore services.
