Her six nominations are for Record of the Year ("The Joke"), Album of the Year (By the Way, I Forgive You), Song of the Year ("The Joke"), Best American Roots Performance ("The Joke"), Best American Roots Song ("The Joke") and Best Americana Album (By the Way, I Forgive You).

Women also have a strong presence in song and record of the year, including Lady Gaga, SZA, Maren Morris and Ella Mai. Best new artist Alessia Cara was the only woman to receive her own award during the telecast, and Lorde, the sole woman to earn an album of the year nomination, was not invited to perform her own music.
