Arsenal's 2-1 triumph at Huddersfield was their fifth away Premier League win of the season - having won four in the whole of the last campaign - but the manner of victory suggested much improvement is still needed.

Arsenal's wait for a first away clean sheet of the season continues to elude them.

A 2-1 victory over Huddersfield Town at the weekend has brought the Gunners to within a point of fourth-placed Manchester United and level on points with Chelsea, who have a game in hand.

Phil Mickelson hits every fairway and starts well at Pebble Beach
He birdied his last hole to reach 10-under par, joining Lucas Glover (66 at Pebble Beach) and Scott Langley (69 at Spyglass Hill). Defending champion Ted Potter Jr. made two birdies on his opening nine holes at Spyglass and still shot 42.

Alexandre Lacazette admitted Arsenal should have scored more than two goals in their win over Huddersfield.

It could have been more for Liverpool too, but they settled with three, in the end, to take back top spot, at least until Man City host Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

"I just think Emery is really struggling to find a solution to his defensive problem, especially with his side's injury issues - although Shkodran Mustafi should be fit after limping off against City".

Insisting that a top-four finish was a realistic target, the Spaniard said: "I think it's hard, but we can (finish in the top four)". "The clean sheet is important but we can get a clean-sheet (sometimes) and draw". We do our work to win every game and on Saturday we did the job.

Next up for Arsenal is two games against BATE Borisov in the Europa League, followed by two home games in the league against Southampton and AFC Bournemouth - four winnable games that would all bolster the Gunners chances of Champions League football next season.

Further forward, a relatively pleased Emery piled praise on goalscorer Iwobi, who now boasts a record of four goals and six assists this term. "Every player was working and helping each other and today I'm very proud with our work".
