James, 34, moved to No. 4 after passing Michael Jordan on the All-Time Scoring Leaders list in last night's home loss to the Nuggets.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James rebuffed any notion of sitting out any of the team's remaining games, saying Monday night that "unless I'm hurt, I'm not sitting games".

He had anticipated the achievement even before the game, tweeting that it will be "unreal". James is now fourth on the list of points leaders, behind only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone and Kobe Bryant.

James is among the last active players who were old enough to witness Jordan lead the Chicago Bulls to six championships in eight years during the 1990s. By limiting the playing time for James, Los Angeles seems more than happy to start losing games and drop in the standings.

You probably know by now that things for the Los Angeles Lakers are looking grim.
