Conor McGregor arrested for allegedly destroying, stealing fan’s phone

Miami police have reportedly arrested Conor McGregor, alleging his smashed a fan's phone at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel. Police say McGregor, age 30, destroyed the phone of a fan trying to snap a photo of the Ultimate Fighting Championship star. He then stomped on it several times, reports the Miami Herald.

When the fan tried to take a picture, McGregor smacked the phone to the ground. Investigators said McGregor then grabbed the phone and left the area.

He has been charged with "strong-armed robbery" and "misdemeanour criminal mischief".

He was previously arrested back in April of 2018 on assault charges after throwing something through the window of a minibus, injuring a passenger. Conor and his girlfriend Dee Devlin, 31, have been in Florida the last few days with their son Conor Jr., 1. "This is the most disgusting thing that has ever happened in the history of this company". The Irishman just recently completed community service in NY after he attacked a UFC bus last April that also landed him in jail before he eventually pled down to a single charge of disorderly conduct. He finished five days of community service in Brooklyn and an anger management class.

McGregor, who's from Ireland, is the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion and one of the biggest draws in MMA.

"Obviously, I've been telling you guys forever we had to wait until Conor's stuff was handled in New York", White told TMZ in August.
