The Dolphins have traded quarterback Ryan Tannehill to the Titans, Tannehill's agency, SportsTrust Advisors announced. The Dolphins get a fourth-round pick in 2020 and a 2019 seventh-round pick, and the Titans get Tannehill and a 2019 sixth-round pick according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

A fresh start, though, could work out for Tannehill, who turns 31 on July 27, as he won't have the pressure typically associated with a starting quarterback. He posted a 42-46 record over six seasons, while throwing for 20,434 yards and 123 touchdowns with 75 interceptions.

The Dolphins, meanwhile, are looking for a quarterback.

Sephora Drops Olivia Jade’s Collection Amid College Cheating Scandal
US attorney Andrew Lelling announced that the parents charged in the scam represent "a catalog of wealth and privilege". Loughlin and Giannulli were taken into federal custody and later released on separate $1 million bonds on Wednesday.

His contract was to balloon to $18.7 million in base salary this year, and he would have counted $26.6 million against the salary cap.

Tannehill's best season with the Dolphins might have come in 2016 when he helped the team earn a playoff spot and had career highs in completion percentage (67.1) and passer rating (93.5). But he is likely to be drafted by the Cardinals, who hold rights to the number-one pick.

The injuries also sapped some of what made Tannehill an intriguing quarterback early in his career: athleticism, ability to make plays when they break down and a strong arm with precise accuracy.

Trump Slams California After Governor Suspends Death Penalty
At the same time , a poll from PPIC found that most Californians preferred life imprisonment to the use of the death penalty. He rescinded those execution regulations and shuttered the state's never-used $853,000 execution chamber.

From the Titans' end the move is probably a reaction, in part, to Marcus Mariota's constant healthy issues. Now the Titans have multiple options, both for the short- and long-term. Tannehill earned a flawless 158.3 passer rating and was rewarded by being named AFC Offensive Player of the Week.

The Dolphins now face a new era without a clear answer at quarterback.

Well, except one quarterback who's been sitting on the sidelines for the last two years, waiting for his next opportunity in the NFL.
